This is the first edition of this title and it is bound in a yellowish orange ribbed cloth gilt stamping to the spine and with the author and title gilt stamped to the front cover. The front cover also has Seckatary Hawkins head stamped in black as well as an open book with inkwell and fountain pen with paper. Some copies have an orange/red stain to the top edge of the pages and some have a plain top edge (no priority has been established). All page edges are trimmed. On the back of page 409 is a list of other Seckatary Hawkins titles, many of which were never published in book form until recent times. The dust jacket of this book has a price of $2.00 on the front flap. The Dust Jacket is a cream color printed in brown and has the same list of Seckatary Hawkins titles that is found on page  of the book on its rear panel.
